Apheresis in the US (ApheresUSTM) is a research program to understand the practice of apheresis medicine in the US.

The ApheresUSTM program consists of 4 key steps:

  1. .   Development of a Uniform Apheresis Case Report Form (UACRF) to standardize data collection for research, benchmarking, quality improvement, and clinical care.
  2. .   Conduct a pilot study to test the usability of the UACRF.
  3. .   Conduct a large multicenter prospective study to describe current apheresis practices in the US.
  4. .   Develop ongoing data collection processes for the purposes of supporting advancements in the field of apheresis medicine.

UNIFORM APHERESIS CASE REPORT FORM for Public Comment

The ApheresUS Consensus Panel invites the public to comment on the uniform apheresis case report form (UACRF) before the document is finalized. The goal of developing the UACRF is to standardize data collection for research, benchmarking, quality improvement, and clinical care. The final UACRF will be made publicly available for use.

Anyone is welcome to comment, including physicians, researchers, allied professionals, representatives of industry, patients, caregivers, and members of the public. After the public comment period has closed and the form has been completed, the final version of the UACRF will be made available to the public for use.

The public comment period is now closed.
